Gladbrook Lions Club

The Gladbrook Lions Club met on Nov. 14th for a supper meeting at Spanky’s. Cornell Gethmann (right) was presented his 25 year membership pin from Secretary Arlo Hildahl. The club voted to give donations for the Festival of Trees prize winners and Kids Shopping Day. Keith Sash promoted Lions Soup Day and everyone signed up to work and make pies. The club decided to change their meeting night to the 3rd Tuesdays at 5:30 at Spanky’s. New members present were Rev. Joe Hackett, Richard Klinefelter, and Trudi Scott. Rev. Hackett will line up programs for the meetings. The next meeting is Tues., Dec. 18th, 5:30 at Spanky’s for a supper and the spouses are invited to attend. Trudi will be planning alittle Christmas program. New members will be installed and receive their membership pins.
