MAXWELL — Colton Clark and Keagan Giesking both ran for more than 100 yards and the Gladbrook-Reinbeck football team buried Collins-Maxwell under a 48-0 avalanche in Friday’s 8-Man District 5 contest. Clark ran for 119 yards and two scores, Giesking carried 15 times for 117 yards and a touchdown, and the Rebels racked up 388 rushing yards in all. Jackson Kiburis, Zane Stice and Eli Thede each contributed touchdown runs for Gladbrook-Reinbeck (4-2, 4-0), which hosts Twin Cedars next Friday night in Gladbrook. Thede also hauled in a 33-yard touchdown pass from Kiburis, who needed to attempt only six passes while himself rushing for 84 yards. The Rebels outgained the Spartans (1-5, 1-3) by a margin of 431-148.
