New unit for teen books at Garwin Library By Margaret Thomsen

March 24, 2017
Northern-Sun Print
The Garwin Public Library is a busy place. The kids still come in after school to play games, use the computer and find the latest book. Snacks are available after school on Wednesday only. Thanks to generous donations at Christmas a new shelving unit has been purchased for th youth sec tin off the Library. There are a multitude of shelves to house teen books. And there is an ample storage space in the middle to store games and puzzles. This is a great addition and provides so much more space. Jane Montgomery has supported us by sending money each month for the children’s programs. It has paid for many Bingo prizes and snacks. A huge thanks to her. We are alternating Bingo and crafts on Saturdays, as we have lots of craft items donated. We have money donated for “True Crime” books. Thanks, Barry. “A Man Called Ova” is a new movie that has been very popular. We also have two copies of he book.
