Gladbrook Gals & Guys 4-H Club

On October 14 2012 the Gladbrook Guys and Gals held the installation of officers, and introduced new members. Installed as president: Margaret Edler Vice President: Shelton Hatch Program Director: Madeline Mussig Secretary: Mikaella Koster Treasurer: Kendra Vavroch Reporter: Callie Hulst Historian: Tyler Wrage Photographers: John Edler and Blayne Koster. We had a meal of walking tacos and desserts and welcomed our new members into our club. Our next meeting will be Saturday November 17 at 9 A.M. At the City Center in Gladbrook, officers come at 8: 30 A.M. We will have a guest speaker come in and talk to us. He has some good information to share with our group. Hope to see you all there!

The regular meeting of the Gladbrook Gals and Guys 4H club was held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Gladbrook City Center. President Meg Edler called the meeting to order at 9:03 a.m. Twenty members answered roll call and 7 parents and visitors were present. Presley led the Pledge to the Flag. Mikealla read the minutes of our last meeting. The Treasurer’s report was given by Kendra. The following committee reports were given: John Edler and Shelton Hatch reported on the officers workshop. Madeline Mussig reported on teacher appreciation project and Mikealla Koester reported on trash pick up. Old Business included registration and record book pick up. New Business discussed was decorating the tree for the City Center and the Award program in Gladbrook. This will be held December 2 at 2 p.m. for past members and their families. Doug Edler gave a talk on “Rate of Gain” The next meeting will be December 8 at the Memorial building.  Meet at 8 a.m. and don’t forget that each member must bring 10 doz. cookies for the cookie walk.
