Before Judge Fay Hoover-Grinde in Toledo: Jessie Pryce Calvert, 41, Montour, pled guilty to a charge of assault causing bodily injury and admitted violating terms of a no contact order. He was sentenced to two, 10-day jail sentences to be served concurrently and fined $315 on the assault charge. Calvert was originally charged on April 30 with serious domestic abuse assault for allegedly pushing and grabbing his girlfriend at a residence in the 200 block of Division Street in Montour, The charge was field by Tama county Deputy Sheriff Joe Quandt. Jordan Omas Dizayvee, 21, Coon Rapids, Minn., pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance, marijuana. He received a deferred judgement, was placed on unsupervised probation and was directed to pay a $315 civil penalty. He was charged on May 11 by Meskwaki Nation Tribal Police Officer Brian Shimmon. The location of the arrest was not noted in court records. Erica Lynn Kapayou, 38, rural Tama, pled guilty to 1st offense drunken driving. She was sentenced to 37 days in jail with all but seven days suspended, fined $1,250 and placed on unsupervised probation for one year. Kapayou was directed to complete a 12-hour Drinking Drivers Program. She was charged on Feb. 12 in the 1600 block of 295th Street by Tama County Deputy Sheriff Joe Quandt.
