GMG Boys Basketball vs. East Marshall By: Kyle Warren and Gatlin Leytham The GMG boys traveled to Le Grand on Monday, December 21, to take on the East Marshall Mustangs. After a phenomenal shooting night GMG came out on top 71-61. GMG made 15 threes led by Dustin Woebbeking and Jacob Hlas with 5 apiece. Hlas also led the team with 23 points, Woebbeking added 19, Blaze Wurr had 9, Will Worden, Austin Aldrich, and Lucas Barritt each had 6 each, and Seth Appelgate contributed 2. The Wolverines improved to 6-2. GO GMG! GMG Girls vs. East Marshall By Betsy Caye The GMG girls faced the East Marshall Mustangs on Monday, December 21, 2009 in Le Grand. It was a tough match. The Mustangs pulled through with the win. The final score was 63 to 51. Jamie Hlas put up 16 points on the scoreboard, Tara Gray contributed 12 points, Kristine Kienzle sank 8, and Abigail Kulhavy had 6 points on the scoreboard. They put up a good fight, and we are hoping they come out in their next game victorious.
